In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top 5 air travel apps on Android in Italy, as tracked by Sensor Tower, showed varying trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Ryanair saw a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting strong with nearly 19K in early October and dipping to around 12K by mid-December before rebounding to approximately 16K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users for the app began at 167K, dipped to 138K mid-quarter, and peaked again at 168K in the final week of December.

Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save maintained relatively stable download numbers throughout the quarter, ranging from around 8.9K to 14K. Weekly active users showed a similar stability, starting at 63K and ending the quarter at 66K.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker experienced a notable increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, rising from 4.8K in early December to 11.4K by the end of the month. Revenue for the app peaked at $2.5K in early October, with a general decline to approximately $1.1K in early December, before a slight recovery to $1.7K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users peaked at 55K at the start of the quarter, dipping to 38K by early December, and then rising again to 47K by the end of the year.

easyJet: Travel App had a consistent download range between 4.5K and 8.1K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users started at 50K, peaked at 59K in early October, and ended the quarter at 56K.

ITA Airways showed a slight decline in downloads over the quarter, from 6K in early October to 4.3K by the end of December. However, weekly active users remained relatively steady, fluctuating between 28K and 33K throughout the quarter.
